Impacting GENERATIONS with the GRACE of Christ through the GAME of baseball in GUATEMALA for GOD’S GLORY
The Call
In 2022 our former church established a partnership with a village in the highlands of Guatemala and a mission trip was planned for July to go serve the indigenous people. The Holy Spirit clearly laid it on Adam’s heart that Anna was to go, and following her stout hesitation she surrendered to the opportunity after the Holy Spirit’s prompting and scripture’s confirmation.
The Lord did a mighty work in Anna’s heart while in Guatemala, and provided another open door 6 months later for Adam, Anna, and Gabriel to share the Gospel with yet another indigenous village. After months of prayer, the Lord clearly confirmed in both Adam and Anna that the future for their family was to leave the comforts and familiarity of the United States to reach the developing country of Guatemala with the hope found in Christ alone.
THE MISSION
Dominated by soccer, baseball missionary opportunities in Guatemala don’t exist…. unless the Lord orchestrates it.
Only through networking that His hands could produce was the position revealed to us for Adam to not merely coach youth baseball teams but to be a coordinator of the entire Little League, having influence in the lives of the players, coaches, and their families.
We look upon this community that we thought was beyond our reach and we see the Lord’s provision, goodness, and sovereignty. We look not just upon their physicality but as eternal souls in need of a redeemer, living in a region with essentially no missionaries, no sound churches, and no Biblical resources. We know God’s mercy is our only hope. We have to go so they too will know.
THE Need
The Lord’s provision is so often through His people, and what a JOY it is to invest in eternal Kingdom work. Our family cannot go to Guatemala to earn their trust, develop these relationships, and proclaim “Christ alone satisfies!” unless you join us financially and in prayer. Our only financial means will be what is faithfully given by supporters, as Adam will relinquish his current salary, insurance, and retirement to obey the Lord’s call in Guatemala.
Our family of 8 IS DEPENDING ON YOU to help us reach these kids with truth they otherwise have no access to, as our livelihood of food, housing, and transportation solely relies upon your generosity.
